Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu (Mother Teresa)

Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu was born on August 26, 1910. She is more commonly known as Mother Teresa. She is famous for being a Roman Catholic nun of Albanian ethnicity and Indian citizenship. She took care of the poor, orphaned, sick, and dying. I admire Mother Teresa because she cared about other people who were less fortunate and she really tried to make a difference in those people’s lives, which I think is a very kind and thoughtful thing to do. Mother Teresa died on September 5th, 1997 in Calcutta, India at age 87. After she died, Pope John Paul the second gave her the title Blessed Teresa of Calcutta.
